The World's Smallest Boat Company

Technically Landau Boat Company is not the World's Smallest Boat Company but that's not our mission. Our mission is to treat our customers, retailers, our suppliers and our associates like we are the World's Smallest Boat Company.

When we publish our warranty statement, it is not written with the intent of wiggling out of responsibility.   It is written to give our customers a sense of security when they invest in our boats.  We are interested in our customers having a safe, enjoyable and carefree experience owning a Landau.

Landau Pontoon Boats are never designed to just get by with the cheapest materials or fastest production methods.  Landau tries to use the right materials for the job at hand and we build the boat right the first time, not rushed, with workmanship that will stand the test.

When Landau has a safety program for its associates it is not to satisfy the insurance company or OSHA, but with the goal of keeping our people safe.  Landau is an NMMA Certified company.  We are not certified because the Certification emblem looks good; it is because we want to build each boat with the safest materials and proven systems for our customers.  We don't see programs like NMMA Certification or safety programs as a duty, we see them as opportunities to make ourselves and our products safer and better.

Landau is a family owned company, not burdened by big corporate overhang.  We do not march to the drum of the pressure of quarterly reports or political gamesmanship as do many of our big competitors.

So when we talk about Landau being the World's Smallest Boat Company it is absolutely Landau's intent to treat our dealers, our customer, and our suppliers the way we would like to be treated with a sense of fair play and with integrity.  We like to think a deal is a deal and fair is fair.

So if you are shopping for a pontoon boat we encourage you to think about 2 things:

First, look at our boat, listen to the reasons we build it the way we do and take a good look at our workmanship and quality materials we use.  Ask our dealers if we are a good company to work with day in and day out.

Secondly, the next time one of our competitors boasts of their grand size and and how many units they build,  please give us a thought as it is not our intent to churn out big production numbers, but to be the company to provide a quality pontoon boat at an exceptional value with a commitment to provide for customer support after the sale.

Sincerely
The Curry Family
